I AM COLD.

It's COLD in Logan.  The birdhouse in the previous blog is by the front step of my house.  Brrrrrrrrr!
My mom, who usually goes to St. George before Thanksgiving, will be making her exit to the South end of the state for a lovely, mild winter.   We are going to drive her to Payson tomorrow, and Carol & Neal will take her to Parowan the following day.
This is the only time of the year, when I question living in Cache Valley.   But it makes me appreciate the contrast of the fabulous Spring, Summer & Fall in Logan.          Meanwhile, I have this beautiful amaryllis to enjoy for a few days.   It was planted at around the end of October.  It developed four blooms between Christmas and New Year's Day, and now we're on to the second stalk, it has several flowers as well.  Amaryllis' always remind me of my dad because he bought one every winter and it was so fun to watch it bloom inside when everything was dead outside.

It is beautiful! I don't envy you being in the freezing cold, but Logan is so beautiful. You are lucky to live there!

What a wonderful tradition! I want to do that--I miss flowers in the winter. And I'm with you--I love to have each season, fall, winter, spring, and summer.

Thanks for commenting on my blog, I am returning the favor! I agree with you, Logan is too cold, in comparison, Sanpete County is almost balmy...and guess what!? We have a vacant lot right next to us you could build on! I know the owners, I bet they'll give you a good deal. Let me know.
