Hillary opens for Suzy Bogguss!

We had an amazing evening on Tuesday...Hillary sang two original songs and 3 others for a total of five to be the "warm-up" band for Suzy Bogguss at the Ellen Eccles Theater. Suzy said that Hillary "knocked her socks off". Hillary did such an awesome job. She has really multiplied her talents and we are so very happy and proud of her. In the third picture are some of Hillary's friends: Jackson, Suzy Bogguss, Taylor, Hillary, Tenielle and Madi.
In the fourth picture is our little family: (except for Austin who was playing Freshman Basketball in SLC) Wayne, me, Hillary, Brandon,
Madi, and Madi's boyfriend, Scot. In the fifth picture is
Hillary with her Grandma Jody and Grandpa Jim. The last picture has many of those from the family who came; (from left to right) Aunt Thelma, Cousin Ed, Aunt Sandie, Hillary, Wayne, Grandma Jody, Grandpa Jim, Madi, Brandon and me.
We had a great time with the family that came to stay for a short visit to see the performance. On a side note, I think most of us are new fans of Suzy Bogguss. She gave a very
fun and energetic show and has a beautiful voice. She was really eclectic---she yodeled, sang some Duke Ellington, some folk songs and of course, country. It was a super entertaining show. So grateful for a wonderful evening!
