FINALLY, Austin Dodd!

Austin- 3 months old
I finally scanned and organized photos of Austin Dodd.  I promised myself that I would not blog again until  first blogging about my most amazing 3rd child.  It seems like you can ooooh and aaaah and be gushy about girls, but that is not the way it goes with boys.  You have to be a little more careful about what you divulge about them even though the things that you want to divulge are all positive and great, those positive items may be extremely embarrassing  and uncool.   So, just so you know, there are many more things I could say about Austin, but I just can't say it all...

I am so proud of this sweet little boy who grew up to a tall, 6'2" still sweet (but not so LITTLE  anymore) boy.  He is almost sixteen and we're not sure if he is 6'2" forever or is still moving upward.
This kid is awesome!  Austin loves to have fun, keeps us laughing with his variety of different ethnic impersonations.
He loves most sports.  This year as a Sophomore, he has played Football, Basketball and will play LaCrosse in the Spring,  all while receiving straight A's at Logan High School.
He takes time to be prepared and organized as he studies, although his room rarely reflects those qualities.  Oh well...
He has been patient this year with me as I have learned more about sports.  Since the girls moved out, we have been watching markedly more of ESPN and therefore, I have had to take up a serious study of football with his expert help.
Austin is a grateful child, which is a wonderful blessing.  He is so great with kids...they love him!  He is a great help and a hard worker and I am so happy I have him around, he makes our home a fun place to be.

Oh my Shelley! Those pictures of little Austin made me tear up! When did MY little buddy Austin grow up so much?! He is still just as cute, but I wouldn't even recognize him!

I love Austin! I was looking at a family picture from a few years ago and I thought, man, Austin sure shot up! He is such a considerate kid yet the life of the party. Have I mentioned lately that I wish I lived closer to you guys. I still need Austin to explain lacrosse to me!

My mom said it's a Christmas miracle that you blogged. Must be because she's gone and you don't have anything to do. :)
